Emmanuel: Sountrack

Undoubtedly, soundtrack plays an important in every animation be it a series, an animated film or a short film. While working on the series, I am considering adding existing songs such as Hark The Herald Angels Sing , O Come, O Come Emmanuel , and Away In A Manger since the series is set around the Christmas period. While I will also compose original soundtracks as well as the theme tune itself later in the course, I came across a very recent Christmas song from Graham Kendrick. I strongly believe that this song will fit perfectly, particularly in the last episodes of the miniseries: Furthermore, another song that will perfectly fit with certain character plotlines in the miniseries; this is from Mark Smeby:

A little insider (MORE RESEARCH)

Backgrounds can be quite a challenge to draw, so that is the more reason I look into tutorials every now and then to improve my skills in that area. I watched a rather interesting tutorial on this, which will help me in drawing environments on both the short film and TV series. Since perspective is also involved, I also look at another tutorial that will enable me to improve my skills in this area. The tutorial also touches a bit on character perspective in this case which is also very handy in animation.

Emmanuel - More Research & Character Concept

Things are coming rather fairly alright for the TV series, furthermore, I have to keep in mind the deadline for the book itself in order to make the entire outline successful. FURTHER RESEARCH As I am working on the TV series I discovered some more potential references in which can help enhance the look of the town square in the miniseries Emmanuel . I remember going to Liverpool around a month ago or so, and I have taken these screenshots, and I believe that they can serve as an enhancer to give a more modern look to the town square to blend with the rustic touches. Waiting: Patching The Story Together

Having finished writing the script, I'm now working on the rest of the character concepts and every documentation necessary for Waiting . I will still be evaluating the script for any loose ends. SCRIPTWRITING REFLECTIONS When writing the script, I had to keep the timeframe in mind, but at the same time avoid diluting the message. After the feedbacks that I received from my lecturers, I had to be more explanatory with what is happening in each scene. For example, when writing the subplot for Samuel, it reminded me of the story of Joseph in the Bible, in the instance where Potiphar's wife was trying to rubbish him, but he refused to give in, and at some point, he had to run for his life. This served as a strong reference for Samuel's case where a group of girls were eyeing Samuel, and one of them approaches him but gets turned down. It also reminds Christians to stay away from all appearances of evil. That is one of the key scenes that I had to expand one without ...

Waiting: The Chosen idea

For the short film, after much thought and time consideration, I have finally decided to pick Waiting . Short trailer for the short film Waiting Waiting is a short animation film surrounding Bridget and Samuel whom God has destined for them to be married. While the issue of purity before marriage plays a prominent role in the short film, it will be aimed mostly at adolescents and young adults; however, the content will be PG-rated and family-friendly.
